Ring Groups #
Efficiently distribute incoming calls across multiple extensions and external numbers.
A PeerOne Ring Group allows you to ring a set of destinations using a specific strategy. This ensures that calls are answered quickly by the right team members.

Configuration Fields #
| Field | Description & Usage |
|---|---|
| Name | Enter a descriptive name for the group (e.g., “Main”). |
| Extension | The internal extension number assigned to the group (e.g., 888). |
| Greeting | Select an audio prompt to play for the caller before the group starts ringing. |
| Strategy | Enterprise: Rings all destinations as individual processes—best for mixed internal and external destinations. |
| Destinations | Add extensions or numbers. You can customize Delay, Timeout, and Prompt for each entry. |
| Timeout Destination | The failover destination if no one in the group answers (e.g., Extension 100). |
| Call Timeout | The total time in seconds the system will ring the group before failing over. |
💡 Quick Tip: Use the Copy button in the top menu to quickly replicate settings for a new Ring Group, or click Save to apply your current changes.
