AnyDesk is the tool PeerOne uses for remote support with setup, troubleshooting, or VoIP services. This guide shows how to download, install, and share your AnyDesk ID on Windows and macOS.
What You Will Need
- A Windows or macOS computer
- An internet connection
- Permission to install software on your device
Download AnyDesk
Windows and macOS
- Go to the official AnyDesk download page:
https://anydesk.com/en/downloads
- Click Download Now.
- Locate the downloaded file:
- Windows: AnyDesk.exe
- macOS: in Downloads, then drag into Applications
- Open AnyDesk to launch it.

Install AnyDesk
Windows
- Double-click AnyDesk.exe.
- Select Install AnyDesk.
- Follow the steps shown on the screen.
- AnyDesk opens automatically when setup is complete.

macOS
- Open the downloaded AnyDesk.dmg file.
- Drag the AnyDesk icon into the Applications folder.
- Open AnyDesk from Applications.
- When macOS asks for permissions, click Allow.

Share Your AnyDesk ID With PeerOne
- Open AnyDesk.
- Find your nine digit AnyDesk Address at the top of the window (for example,
123 456 789). - Provide this address to your PeerOne technician.
- When the connection request appears, click Accept.
Important: PeerOne cannot connect to your computer without your approval. You can end the session at any time.
Connection Permissions for macOS Users
macOS may request permission for the following:
- Screen Recording
- Accessibility
- Full Disk Access
Click Allow when prompted.
If needed, open settings manually:
System Settings → Privacy and Security → enable AnyDesk
Security and Privacy
AnyDesk uses encrypted communication. You stay in control of access at all times:
- The technician must request access before each session.
- You decide when to accept or reject the connection.
- You can disconnect at any time.
- Each session is temporary and does not remain active after you close AnyDesk.
Troubleshooting
AnyDesk will not install
- Temporarily disable antivirus software.
- Run the installer as Administrator on Windows.
- Download the installer again from the official AnyDesk website.
PeerOne cannot connect
- Make sure AnyDesk is open.
- Accept the incoming connection request.
- Check that your internet connection is online and stable.
