Time Conditions #
Automate your call flow based on the time of day, day of the week, or specific holidays.
Time Conditions act as a smart switch for your PeerOne phone system. Use them to ensure callers reach a live agent during office hours and a professional voicemail or after-hours menu during evenings and weekends.
Step 1 Navigation #
Access your time routing rules by going to Applications > Time Conditions. From here, you can view, edit, or create new routing schedules.
Step 2 Creating the Schedule #
Define the specific parameters that make a call a “Match.” If the call falls within these times, it follows your primary route.
| Field | Description & Example |
|---|---|
| Name | A label to identify the rule. Example: “Main Office Hours” |
| Day of Week | The days the schedule is active. Example: Mon – Fri |
| Time Range | The start and end times for the rule. Example: 08:30 – 17:00 |
Step 3 Setting the Flow #
Finally, tell PeerOne where to send the call based on whether the schedule is currently active (Match) or inactive (Non-Match).
| Condition Result | Destination Example |
|---|---|
| Match (Open) | Where calls go during your set hours. Route to: Ring Group (Sales) |
| Non-Match (Closed) | Where calls go after-hours. Route to: Voicemail (Extension 101) |
