Yealink T46U Setup Guide #
Official configuration manual for PeerOne SIP services.
What you need to get started #
- A Yealink T46U IP Phone
- Valid login credentials for a PeerOne extension & password
- The server you want to use (e.g.,
xyz.peerone.com)
• BLF: Contact PeerOne support to activate BLF for your specific server.
• Incoming DID: Ensure your DID settings are configured to correct route.
Connecting to the Phone #
The phone pulls an IP address via DHCP by default. To identify it:
Connect via browser. Default credentials are admin/admin (password is also on the sticker below the phone). You will be prompted to update the password immediately.
Account Register Settings #
Navigate to Accounts >> Register >> Account 1 and apply the following:

| Password | Password for the extension numbe |
| Server Host | PeerOne SIP Server (e.g., xyz.peerone.com) |
| Transport | UDP / TCP / TLS (Choose TCP) |
| Server Expires | 180 seconds |
• Use CAPITAL LETTERS for clarity.
• Max 15 characters (Standard Canadian provider limit).
• No special characters; spaces are allowed.
Advanced & Security #
Navigate to Accounts >> Advanced >> Account 1 to finalize features:
- Voice Mail: Set to
*97
Audio Codec Configuration Optional #
Navigate to Accounts >> Codec >> Account 1 for High Audio Quality.
Remove all codecs and only enable the following in order of priority:
- G722 (High Audio Quality)
- PCMU (Standard Quality)
Note: Ensure G722 and G711 are enabled in your PeerOne sub-account settings, with G729 unchecked.
